Önskeprogrammet = The Request Programme

The set-up of the programme was that people could write in and request what that they wanted to see on the show. This is how the show was described before it started airing: “What the viewers may request isn’t just music but, preferably, segments from earlier programmes or film clips from TV’s big archive. Furthermore, there will be newly recorded items, for example interviews with a specific person etc.”. The programme was usually linked to charity Radiohjälpen with giro 90 1950, or later 90 1950-6.

The Hootenanny Singers performed Början Till Slutet. 

The show was hosted by singers Lars Lönndahl (Frida’s 1968 touring companion) and Gunnar Wiklund. Other guests included Lill Lindfors and Sabu Martinez.
