TV-am was the ITV programme company broadcasting on ITV (Independent Television) between 06:00-09:25, seven days a week from 1 February 1983 to 31 December 1992. The company's flagship breakfast programme was called Good Morning Britain.

Björn and Tim Rice were interviewed by Nick Owen and Anne Diamond on this daily morning breakfast programme about the imminent opening of Chess two weeks later.

Anne Diamond had met Björn on Good Morning Britain in 1985.
