Benny, Björn and Tim Rice were interviewed briefly by John Craven about Chess.  The first of the five Chess in Concert tours would take place in London that night (and I was there!).

The young audience around them were dressed up for Hallowe'en.

As with all guests, Benny, Björn and Tim offered a prize and it was a fantastic one - the new Chess album, a Chess cassette, Chess sweatshirt and also the chance to go to Stockholm for the Swedish concert the following Thursday, a visit to the Polar Music Studios and the chance to do a spot of shopping in Stockholm on Friday.  Viewers had to answer the question, "Who is the current world Chess champion?".  The prize was for one Saturday Superstore client (ie. a child) and one adult, both with current valid passports.
