Aplauso = Applause

Aplauso was a weekly music series on RTVE, which ran from 9 July 1978 to 1 January 1983 on Saturday evenings of 2 hours duration and included 210 Episodes. 

The programme intended to fill a gap in the TVE schedules, highlighing current popular trends for the majority of the public and especially the young.

Recording finished at 20:00 and their flight back to Sweden was at 20:30 so the group didn't change their stage outfits in the studios.

Saturday 2 June 1979, 17:30-19:00 and again 4 August 1979 (on the 1st Anniversary Edition of the series) RTVE, Spain and the 1st Anniversary Edition was rebroadcast on Canal Nostalgia on 1 July 2004 at 18:05 and the entire programme was available on RTVE open archive site.

The performance of Chiquitita was released on the CD/DVD Gracias por la musica Deluxe Editon on 15 November 2014.

In Voulez Vous, just after the "aha, aha" segment towards the end of the song, Frida mimes "Ain't no big decision" instead of "Take it now or leave it."
