Benny and Björn attended the Worldwide (major) première of Mamma Mia! Here We Go Again on a very hot Monday early evening together with most of the cast of the film.  The only person missing in fact was Julie Walters and there was no explanation given for her absence (even though she indicated she would attend in the Omaze Mamma Mia! Promotion - see vinal video in the VIDEO section). Even Cher attended and she doesn't normally "do" premières!

The front of the Eventim Hammersmith Apollo had been beautifully done up with a blue carpet and plants and flowers.  They did a brilliant job of making the concrete area look appealing as it's set right underneath the A4 Hammersmith flyover!

Benny and Björn arrived together early in the proceedings, just after 18:00, which was broadcast live on Mamma Mia!'s own Facebook page (and Twitter presumably?).  As all the main cast and creatives for the film arrived, they were briefly interviewed by an American lady called Nicky before posing on the blue carpet for press photos in two different settings - in front of a large Mamma Mia! Here We Go Again sign and again in front of an arch of beautiful Bougainvillea flowers.  They then started to "work" the crowd and the media who were penned up on either side of the blue carpet.  At the end of the line of media was Good Morning Britain host Lorraine Kelly and basically had the same conversation with each and every person about how really, really gorgeous they looked.

   Enabling fans the world over to experience the London Première live as it happened, the stars and main creatives of the film arrived and were interviewed by American Nicky (don't know her surname - anyone?) and after working the crowd and press, were interviewed by Lorraine Kelly who told everyone they looked amaaaazing and that the film was really, really good.  The footage for this is blocked on YouTube by Universal Music due to the copyright content of the ABBA songs heard in the background as the guests arrive ...  I hope you can see it here.

   A strange mix of clips where the audio doesn't match the visual but the visuals are very nice indeed - just footage of everyone arriving and posing for photos.  Some footage is on the ground so feels like you're there.  Not much of Benny and Björn but keep your eyes peeled and they do pop up from time to time.
