Лестница Якоба в гостях у Утренней почты = Jacobs Stege - Moskva (Jacob's Ladder - Moscow)

In 1987 Jacob Dahin recorded a special edition of his show in Moscow with Benny and Gemini as guests along with Swedish rock group Europe.  Russian pop star Alla Pugacheva was also a guest - Benny and Björn had originally wanted her to play the role of Svetlana in Chess. (Apparently Pugacheva was forced to decline for political reasons and stated, "it was her life's biggest tragedy not to be allowed to perform in Chess").

The show was hosted by Jacob Dahlin and Jurij Nikolajev.

The Russian programme was called Utrennyaya Pochta greets Jacobs Stege. 

The Swedish programme started with scenes of rehearsals and backstage in which you see Benny introduce himself to Russian co-host Jurij Nikolajev.  See it here (not able to include in VIDEO section).

Benny played Money Money Money on the piano and, after some not-very-subtle flirting with Alla Pugacheva, I Know Him So Well and finally Happy New Year.

Gemini (Anders and Karin Glenmark) performed four songs.

Benny and Europe met again at the end of the year when they were both guests on Listan.

Jacob Dahlin died in October 1991.

1. Benny wears a strange, clashing, combination of tie, jacket and shirt.
2. When Benny is playing I Know Him So Well - without any vocals you can absolutely hear that the chorus was I Am An A.
