Björn and Swedish 2015 Eurovision winner Måns Zelmerlöw opened a new exhibition dedicated to the Eurovision Song Contest at ABBA The Museum.  Also in attendance at the press conference were previous Swedish winners Carola (1991), Loreen (2012) and two of the Herreys (1984).  (Only 1999 winner Charlotte Nilsson was missing or unrepresented).

The interactive ”Good Evening Europe!” exhibition celebrated 60 years of the Eurovision Song Contest and covered its history, featuring digitalised archive footage as well as costumes from former participants including Celine Dion, Loreen, Conchita Wurst, Johnny Logan, Lordi, Carola Häggkvist, Dutch champions Teach In and Norwegian winners Bobbysocks. Celine Dion, who donated the outfit she wore when she won the Contest in 1988, said; “Winning the 33rd Eurovision was a very special moment for me. Reaching millions of viewers and receiving votes from all these countries gave me tremendous exposure to my then young career. Michael Robidas, a renowned Montreal designer, created the dress for this occasion. I always kept it as a good luck charm.”

It was a temporary exhibition and was available through to Sunday 7 January 2018.
