Additional information

The world première of Mamma Mia! The Movie took place at the Odeon Leicester Square in London on Monday 30 June 2008. All of the main stars of the film were there and mingled with the press and the crowds. With such huge film stars, there was a fan base present for everyone so it was chaotic.  There weren't just ABBA fans in the crowd.

The press were packed into an inner circle and the fans were in an outer circle with the guests and celebrities walking on the blue carpet separating the two.

It was a huge event with guest celebrities arriving first with the stars and creators of the film following up before heading inside the cinema to appear on the balcony and then in to watch the film.

Frida was there and signed for fans in the crowd but I don't think she approached the press at all.

Below is the 'official' footage I am aware of - there was probably a lot more.  With many fans in the crowd, there's a lot of private footage which is available to view in the VIDEO section.
