The Stockholm Globe Arena, commonly referred to in Swedish simply as Globen (The Globe) is an indoor arena located in Stockholm Globe City, Johanneshov district of Stockholm, Sweden and opened on 19 February 1989.
Since 2009 it's been known as The Ericsson Globe (after Swedish telecommunication company Ericcson acquired the naming rights) and is the largest hemispherical building in the world. It 2½ years to build. Shaped like a large white ball, it has a diameter of 110 metres (361 feet) and an inner height of 85 metres (279 feet) and has a seating capacity of 16,000 spectators for shows and concerts, and 13,850 for ice hockey.
At an inaugural concert marking the opening of Globen, Benny on piano, with a full orchestra (Radiosymfonikerna (The Radio Symphony Orchestra), Karin Glenmark and Tommy Körberg performed Efter Regnet and then a large female choir performed Klinga Mina Klockor.
Tommy also performed Anthem.
According to TV listings in Dagens Nyheter, this concert was recorded and then broadcast later the same evening.
