Wogan was a British television talk show which was broadcast on BBC1 from 4 May 1982 until 3 July 1992, presented by Terry Wogan. The show was generally broadcast live from the BBC Television Theatre in Shepherd's Bush, London until 1991. It was then broadcast from the BBC Television Centre. Some shows were pre-recorded, but broadcast unedited, 'as live'. Wogan ended its run in July 1992 (it was replaced by the soap opera Eldorado).
Benny appeared on keyboards with Gemini to perform Just Like That on the show. Terry Wogan introduced him but his appearance was very laid back as if he didn't want to be noticed. This appearance was all about promoting Gemini.
Running order for his episode:
* Janet Brown had appeared on The Mike Yarwood Christmas Show in 1978 as part of The Generation Game sketch where she impersonated Isla St. Clair.
** Rik Mayall would 18 years later appear in ABBA's The Last Video.
Sir Terry Wogan died on 31 January 2016.
