Här är ditt liv = This Is Your Life

Här är ditt liv, the Swedish This is Your Life, was a series on SVT between 11 January 1980 and 12 September 2009. Between 1980-1991 it was produced from Malmö and each episode was 90 minutes long.

This edition was devoted to Swedish dancer and choreographer Birgit Cullberg who was involved in the TV movie Abbalett (Abballet)  in 1984. This ballet came about when Cullberg listened to ABBA's music and realized the lyrics held a human and literary interest. It's about people, young and old, inexperienced and badly experienced, happy and unhappy - all with different love stories. Songs that had some kind of emotional connection or followed a dramatic episode were linked together and thus creating 6 mini dramas. Dancers: Gerd Andersson, Madeleine Onne, Peter Breuer, Anna Grip, Niklas Ek, Indra Lorentzen, Tom van Cauwenbergh, Galina Panova, Anneli Alhanko, Per Arthur Segerström, Siv Ander, Istvan Kisch and Birgit Cullberg.

Här är ditt liv  showed an extract from the ballet, and then they talk to Björn via telephone from his home in England.  There was a discussion about why Birgit Cullberg had wanted to do Abbalett and she said mentioned that the music and lyrics were good. Björn was flattered by this. The host asked Björn whether he was a dancer himself, but he said he wasn't, and that he only used to dance to pick up girls.
