That's Life was the daily, half-hour, award-winning current affairs (news-views-lifestyle, variety and magazine-style) show of Global Television Network which ran on week nights from 1980 to 1986 at 19:00, hosted by Peter Feniak and Ann Rohmer. The two would explore everyday life, interview everyday people, assembled as a number of short segments.
Frida was interviewed by reporter Peter Feniak as promotion for Something's Going On in the studio and walking down the street where she bought a hot-dog for him. Clips of the PROMOS of The Name of the Game , I Know There's Something Going On, Thank you For the Music and I See Red PROMOS were shown.
Fan Jozsef contacted Peter Feniak in 2014 and he had this to say: "I remember this interview well. Frida was a lovely person to spend some time with, and was excited about this album -- produced by Phil Collins if I recall correctly. That 'big sound' on Something's Going On is fantastic. I'm sure we talked mostly about her hopes for the future and a solo career and how she came to be working with Phil Collins. She was friendly and relaxed as I recall. I was very happy to have met her."
Global Television Network does not have archives for older programmes, so it's doubtful whether the Frida report exists any more (however, they do have an archive so it's not impossible). Click here for a report about the archives presented by John Hadden - GTN's online video producer.
