According to the 9 January 1979 edition of Aftonbladet, when ABBA were in New York for the Music for UNICEF - A Gift of Song Concert, they were on The Today Show on NBC on the morning of 9 January 1979.  It is unknown whether this was pre-recorded or not and there are no further details.
