Music Scene was a German language, fortnightly series in Switzerland on channel SRF 1 from 2 February 1976 to 31 December 1984.

Another guest on this episode was Chi Coltrane with a concert from Tramdepot Tiefenbrunnen in Zürich.  She performed You Were My Friend, Put Your Arms Around Me, It's Not Easy, What's Happening To Me, Thunder and Lightning and Let Me Go.

This was undoubtedly filmed on the same day as the Multi-Coloured Swap Shop and the Karussell trailer.

Benny: I think the reason for our success is that we have the same taste in music as most other people. Often musicians taste is really different to the majority. They are more interested in more fastidious music like Modern Jazz or something like that and that’s why their music is much more difficult to record and not that plausible than ours.

Björn: We have real fun working out a plausible melody.

Benny: Of course we are interested in a lot of music styles, from opera and classic music to rock ’n' roll and rhythm and blues. There are big differences, but every music style has its qualities.

Björn: I think people who listen to our music feel the different influences. For us – as musicians – it is certainly good to listen to other artists music. It’s hard to detract from those influences.

Benny: If we have a clean and neat image in public, than it is because we always act like we really are. We never tried to make a special image. We are as we are and we act naturally.

Björn: A Lot of the stories which you can read in the papers are invented, but like I told you we act naturally. We are two really normal couples and not actors. We are always ourselves. There is this phenomenon (don’t know if it is everywhere the same), but here in Sweden they permanently hack on anyone something, especially the journalists as soon as you are successfully. But I think the average audience think we are good.

Benny: People love our music, even if they attack us for other things.

Björn: When a newspaper article in Sweden comes out about us, we can be sure to be criticized. Meanwhile we almost don’t expect anything else. It’s an incredibly silly opinion to believe that people who like our music wouldn’t notice social problems. Nobody spends the whole day with our music.The extreme questionable at journalists is, that they look down to the audience and deny their ability to expose with actual problems. This is a very cynical approach. Our audience sees the problems as well as we do.

Frida: I’m very interested in the feminine movement. I don’t know how it is in Switzerland, but I’m glad that here in Sweden it had been intensive disputed about women questions. There is a very radical feminine movement, whose standpoint I can’t advocate. I think that we (men and women) have to help and to back each other. It is not just a womens issue, but for men too and we are dependant on one another.

Björn: Recently someone (probably a politician), commented that the feminine movement is really well engaged, while the men movement not even started yet.

Frida: I read a lot of books, which written by women and I think they tell me – as woman – real important things.

Benny: I agree with you. It’s really important, that people get have unfair situations highlightedr. On the other hand, I think many men will be scared of very strongly organised feminine movements. We take a lot of as self-evident, what we shouldn’t do. To change this situation, you have to act gentle to avoid more problems. I mean that in pure human sphere and dont talk about same money for same work, cause that’s so obvious that there is nothing to discuss about.
