Nygammalt = Newly-old or literally New-old

ABBA performed I've Been Waiting For You, So Long and were interviewed. Footage only appears to exist of part of I've Been Waiting For You and even then, only about 1 minute of it.

In an old newspaper cutting (actually a letter to the editor) found by Carl Magus Palm, the person writing says that she really enjoyed ABBA's performance at Nygammalt. Then she adds: "But the best bit was when Benny played the accordion with the Lindqvists [Bröderna Lindqvist, the show's house band]. Anni-Frid was really great during the sing-a-long."

Apparently, Nygammalt used to have sing-a-longs, just like they have on Allsång på Skansen. So ABBA's appearance wasn't limited to the promotion of their new single.

This snippet of I've Been Waiting For You was also broadcat on 12 July 2012, SVT Sweden on the programme Minnenas television.
