Additional information

Musik aus Studio B was a 45-minute music series, run on channel NDR from 22 October 1961 to 20 September 1976, on every 6th Monday at 9pm. All the performances were playback and in German, with some rare exceptions. They produced 97 Episodes all together, but unfortunately only 20 Episodes were archived and are available today.

Luckily this Episode No. 82 has survived, including ABBA performing (to playback) Waterloo in German, with lyrics by Gerd Müller-Schwanke.

This is one of the 2 rare performances, when ABBA sing in German (the other one is on Ein kessel Buntes). Agnetha seems full of confidence in this performance.

The host was Henning Venske

Other guest-stars of the show were:

  1. Ballet scene (Hamburger Fernsehballett)
  2. Dunja Rajter - Listen to the music (in German)
  3. ABBA - Waterloo (in German)
  4. Wilma Reading - Keep the Faith
  5. Georges Moustaki - Sans la nommer (in French)
  6. Ballet scene
  7. Peter Beil - Señorina (in German)
  8. The Three Degrees - The year of Decision
  9. Street report: who can sing a schlager?
  10. Reinhard Mey - Über den Wolken
  11. Erika Pluhar - Wenn ich mir was wünschen dürfteEin paar Tränen werd' ich weinen um dich
  12. Ballet scene
